This fast is modeled after Daniel’s example in Scripture:
Daniel 1 – Daniel abstained from rich foods and chose simple foods instead.
Daniel 10 – Daniel practiced fasting with focused prayer and humility.
Daniel chose a simpler way to live and eat in order to seek God more intentionally.

Day 1
Scripture: 1 Chronicles 22:19
Thought:
To “set” your heart means to give your heart completely to God. Seek Him wholly.
Prayer:
Lord, I give my heart and soul completely to You. I seek You without reservation!
Day 2
Scripture: Psalm 63:1
Thought:
We need a spiritual thirst for God like someone desperate for water.
Prayer:
God, make me thirsty for You. Let me come to Jesus and drink. Let my satisfaction be found in You.Day 3

Thought:
We need solitude and silence to hear God clearly—like Jesus did.
Prayer:
God, give me the desire to spend quiet time with You away from distractions. Let me hear Your still, small voice.
